How to merge several PDFs into one, on your phone or computer

Combine several PDFs into a single file, put them in order and add photos or single pages, from your phone or computer with nothing to install.

You're asked for “all the paperwork in a single PDF”: your ID, a certificate, two invoices and a contract. Combining them takes a minute, and whoever receives it will appreciate it.

Step by step

  1. Open the Merge PDF tool and choose all the files at once. On a phone, press and hold to select several.
  2. Put them in order: drag them or use the arrows. The first in the list will be first in the document.
  3. If one is missing, click “Add more PDFs”.
  4. Click “Merge PDF” and download the result.

What if one of the documents is a photo?

It's very common: you have your ID or a receipt as a phone photo. Convert it to PDF first with the JPG to PDF tool, or scan it so it's cropped with a white background. Then merge it with the rest.

Reordering individual pages

Merge PDF places each file in full, one after another. If you also need to move specific pages, remove some or rotate them, run the result through Organize PDF: you'll see all the pages as thumbnails and can arrange them however you like.

Before sending it

  • Check the order is the one you were asked for.
  • If it's over 10 MB, compress it so you can email it without problems.
  • Give the file a clear name, for example “Documents-Jane-Smith.pdf”.
