How to use it
- Upload your PDF.
- Choose “Editable text” if you want to change the content, or “Exact layout” if you want it to look the same.
- Click “Convert to Word” and open the .docx in your editor.

Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens in your browser: your documents never leave your device and nobody else can see them.
Is the layout preserved?
With “Editable text”, text, headings, bold and bullet points are kept, but columns, complex tables and photos aren't copied. With “Exact layout” it looks identical, but can't be edited.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
A scanned PDF is a photo of paper and contains no text. You can convert it to Word with “Exact layout”, but to edit it you'd need text recognition (OCR).
