PNG or JPG: when to choose each
PNG saves the image without quality loss, so text, lines and charts look perfectly sharp. JPG is smaller, but can leave small smudges around letters. That's why PNG is already selected on this page.
- Documents with text, tables or charts: PNG.
- Pages with lots of photos, or if you need small files: JPG.
Tip: Choose “Print” quality if you'll enlarge or print the image; “High” is enough for screens and social media.
