What WebP is and why it causes problems
WebP is a format created by Google to make website images smaller. That's why, when you save an image from many sites, it downloads as .webp. The problem is that some programs, forms and older editors don't accept it.
JPG, on the other hand, works everywhere. When converting, you can choose the quality: at 90% you won't notice any difference from the original.
Tip: If your WebP has a transparent background (a logo, for example), choose PNG instead of JPG to keep the transparency.
